Freixenet 1998


I had the honor of working with Leopoldo Pomés i Karin Leiz, creators of the Freixenet Bubbles, in the elaboration of the Christmas spots from 1998 to 2006, I was assistant director together with Poldo Pomés and in addition to helping Leopoldo in all production aspects I was the post-production director and responsible for the design of the digital effects of each of the ads. The truth is that it was a few years full of emotions with endless unforgettable experiences and the opportunity to work with great artists from both Hollywood and the Spanish scene.

I do not have enough words of gratitude to Karin and Leopoldo for the opportunity they offered me: to work alongside them for more than 9 years in the development and implementation of the Freixenet campaigns. There were 9 spots, each with its peculiarities: great artists, with the spirit of the bubbles that Leopoldo invented in the sixties, with an unusual duration of broadcast, with the air of spectacle and Christmas spirit. My task was to be with Leopoldo and Karin helping them from the creation, preparation, filming and even all the post-production to the presentation of the final result in the press. I was able to work with artists of international stature both from film, dance or music such as Ainhoa ​​Arteta, Alejandro Sanz, Maribel Verdú, Montserrat Caballé, Estrella Morente, Ingrid Rubio, Lorena Bernal, Tamara Rojo, Joaquín de Luz, Carlos Núñez, Ketama, Lorin Maazel, Penélope Cruz, Pilar Lopez de Ayala, Paz Vega, Pierce Brosnan, Nieves Álvarez, Demi Moore, Gabino Diego, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ángel Corella. A luxury and experience that has served me the rest of my professional life and of which I keep very good memories of the moments we shared with Karen and Leopoldo.
